Explore data and understand your region
Data Lab is an analysis workspace for exploring Japanese healthcare and regional data. Add measures to a canvas and examine how they relate to places, sources, and reference periods.
Choose a topic and select places to create a board. You can move and resize charts and tables, and check each measure’s definition and source in its Source panel.
How to read the data
- Check each value’s reference period, unit, geographic basis, and source.
- Not observed, outside current coverage, not published, not applicable, and unknown are shown separately from zero.
- The service does not rank places, rate healthcare quality, or recommend where to live or seek care.
- Comparing public data does not establish healthcare sufficiency or a causal relationship.
