How do child and household counts compare with listed facilities?
Data in this analysis
Child population and household counts are from the 2020 Population Census (1 October 2020). Hospital counts use the facility survey published by Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) (1 June 2026). Units are people, households, and facilities.
